Another month, another host of free Xbox games thanks to Games with Gold. As always, we say free, but the games are only available to download for those with an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. You know the drill.

Anyway, February’s offerings are pretty eclectic and are as follows:

Xbox One Games

TT Isle of Man will be available to download between February 1-29

Call of Cthulhu will be available to download between February 16 and March 15

Xbox 360 Games (Backwards Compatible)

Fables Heroes between February 1-15

Star Wars Battlefront between February 16-29

As always, there’s a bit of something for everyone here unless, of course, you already happen to own some of the games, something that happens to me every month over on the PlayStation.

Xbox - February 2020 Games with Gold

Out of this selection, my highlight has to be Call of Cthulu, the survival horror RPG set in a Lovecraftian world. I’ve yet to play it, and if our review is anything to go by (it is), I’m in for a fantastic time.

Should that not float your boat, there’s always the fantastic Star Wars Battlefront. Having released on the original Xbox to favorable reviews back in 2004, I’d be pretty interested to see how it holds up today.

Or if bike racing is more your thing, I’ve heard positive noise about TT Isle of Man. I’ve never actually played it, though, so don’t hold me accountable if you don’t like it.

Overall, I’d say we are getting a pretty good selection for the February Xbox games for Gold. There may not be any one title that jumps out and screams at you, but as a collective, I’d say they are pretty good games.

I’m pretty happy to give these a try next month. Let us know in the comments what you think of the selection and be sure to let us know if there are any games you’d like to see in March.

Steve is the resident Englishman, just don't hold that against him.  He's been playing games for the best part of 3 decades and will continue to do so for as long as his thumbs hold up.  When they no longer work, he'll still find a way to play Resident Evil 2. Lover of most things nerdy Steve also likes sports.  Go sports!
