In addition to Earthlock: Festival of Magic, players will be able to download the popular Forza Horizon at the beginning of September as well. If you have been out of the Forza game for a while, this could be the push you need to get back into the action, seeing as though the newest addition to the franchise (Forza Horizon 3) will be releasing on September 27, 2016.
We can also look forward to Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China to be ready for download come mid- September. It is the first in an Assassin’s Creed spin-off series and takes place in 16th century China. Surprisingly, it received a fair amount of attention but was nowhere near as engaging or comparable to the original games in the series.
One of the most notable titles in the Games with Gold pack for September is Mirror’s Edge, which was released on the last generation of consoles. It is the predecessor to May 2016’s release of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and is our first introduction to series protagonist Faith and the infamous City of Glass. This will also be available for download starting mid-September.
