Yakuza: Like a Dragon finally has an official release date.
It’s been a long time coming for the latest installment in the series. The game was announced as heading to the West back in 2019.
Developers RGG Studio announced Like a Dragon is going to be landing on US shorts just in time for the Holiday season. It’s hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 13.
The newest Yakuza is also planned for the Xbox Series X and PS5, though an official release date isn’t yet known. RGG simply said “soon.”
It’s entirely possible one of the reasons it didn’t give Like a Dragon a date for the PS5 or Series X is that November 13 is awfully close to when we’re expecting the next-gen consoles to go live.
The big question is whether or not this chapter of the Yakuza legacy would arrive on everything at the same time.
Coming to Xbox One, Windows 10, PlayStation 4, and Steam on November 13!
Launching on Xbox Series X in Nov, PlayStation 5 Coming Soon.

Along with the announcement came a new trailer that showed off the key feature of Like a Dragon. While Ichiban Kasuga, a low-ranking grunt of a low-ranking family in Tokyo is going to be the key figure, there are other characters that will play a part along the way.
In addition to meeting some rather raucous personalities, a feature of the game will have players choosing between 19 different “jobs.” Along with the jobs comes very unique ways of dispatching your enemies. You can check out the trailer above.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the eighth title in the now very long-running series. One aspect that has made it so popular is the outrageous storylines. It appears this chapter will stay in line with that feature.
The game itself should generate plenty of excitement. Seeing whether or not the November 13 launch date might be tipping off some even more exciting news is worth the wait.
