“Age is just a number,” some might say, but things can get a little disturbing if one’s kids are older than the lover involved. Such is the case with Bill Belichick, the former NFL coach of the New England Patriots, who is now “enjoying his relationship with his girlfriend Jordon [Hudson] that is blossoming into something that is going to lead to marriage,” according to the Daily Mail. Naturally, there’s nothing wrong with Bill having a relationship here, except that he’s 72 years old — and Jordon is 23.
“Bill is in a bit of a crossroads on what he would like to do for his future as there is still a drive to coach again and break the wins record, but his life now isn’t that bad as he has been enjoying doing TV and absolutely enjoying his relationship with his girlfriend Jordon that is blossoming into something that is going to lead to marriage.”

“He wants to be with her all of the time, but she is pushing him to see the options that he will have for next season because she knows that makes him happy.”

Of course, two consenting adults have every right to enjoy their love with each other, but those following Bill Belichick online think otherwise. “Yikes” is the top comment on Reddit’s r/popculturechat post covering the news about Bill’s upcoming marriage with 23-year-old Jordon Hudson. “She was 2 when he won his first Super Bowl,” another comment adds.
Some top comments get pretty aggressive towards the former NFL coach: “I’m sorry, but that’s disgusting, my dude.” “‘Older than your actual children’ should be the absolute bare minimum rule,” another user chimes in. One commenter makes a point in how “She’s in love with that wallet, and that fact that he’s old asf and she won’t have to pretend for long.” The comical reply to this comment was, “He probably has wallets older than her.“
These remarks on Reddit and the hundreds of others across social media and news outlets’ comment sections show how just because something is legal doesn’t mean the public welcomes the idea with open arms.
