No excuse to miss it.

Amazon’s Fallout show is going to hit Amazon Prime very soon, and if you’re still unsure whether you should watch it or not, you can watch the first episode for free on Twitch. The video game streaming service recently lost its Watch Party feature, but now 15 streamers will watch the first episode of Fallout from Amazon Prime and share it with their audience.

Before you get too excited, this is only a one-off event and likely won’t happen again unless it’s for marketing purposes for another show. Once you’re done watching the episode on Twitch, the entire series will become available the following night. Some of the streamers that you can watch to catch the first episode of Amazon Prime’s Fallout show via Twitch are Shroud, BrookAB, and TheOnlyRyann.

Twitch Watch Parties Are Making a Return With Amazon Prime’s Fallout Show

This is planned to take place when the Fallout series premiers on Thursday, April 11. When Twitch canned Watch Parties last month it said that it would remain functional until April 2, 2024. Since only a small subset of streamers were actually using the feature, Twitch decided to remove it altogether and focus resources on other projects.

For the uninitiated, Watch Parties on Twitch would allow streamers to connect their Twitch stream with Amazon Prime and watch some allowed shows with their viewers. But this feature just didn’t get enough attention once the pandemic came to an end.

Fans are extremely excited about the Fallout show and if you aren’t up to speed, the show stars Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Aaron Moten. And to top it off, the company known for producing the long-running show Westworld, Kilter Films, is behind the Fallout show as well. The series takes place 200 years after the apocalypse hits, and the world is now a toxic barren wasteland, much like the games, and will hopefully recreate the source material well.
