The popular comic book director is finally having his Justice League vision realized – to an extent. The Dreamscapes of Justice League: A Motion Comic will feature Zack Snyder’s storyboards that essentially lay out his planned trilogy.
The Justice League Trilogy: What Could Have Been
As a part of the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse movement, the motion comic will feature the director’s storyboards that have popped in-and-out of the news. But with this project, fans of the movement will get to witness how the Justice League trilogy would’ve played out. One for example features the final film’s climactic battle with our heroes, Amazons, Atlanteans, and Green Lanterns against Darkseid and his forces. Another one would feature Lex Luthor assembling members for his Legion of Doom. This would’ve included villains from previous films, such as Dr. Poison from Wonder Woman and Black Manta with Ocean Master from Aquaman.
One significant aspect in the Justice League storyboards shows the son of Lois Lane and Clark Kent, Bruce. At some point during the final battle, Batman meets his end. On the 20th anniversary of Batman’s death, Lois and Clark take their son to the Batcave, thus passing on the mantle of the Dark Knight.
Title Reveal Trailer
The short trailer reveals the title of the motion comic, with brief narration by Darkseid himself Ray Porter. He will provide a full voice-over for the film as well. The Justice League storyboards were originally developed by Zack Snyder, Jim Lee, and Geoff Johns. The motion comic will feature additional artwork by Mariano De Venezia and VFX work by Luis Bedregal. Matthew Miranda & Maroof Husain were the directors behind the project.
