Time certainly flies, Proxies. It seems as if it was just yesterday when we were all celebrating Zenless Zone Zero‘s first year alongside a new region, characters, and a brand-new story. Well, now’s the time to repeat that again, but with an even bigger celebration as this urban fantasy RPG is reaching its 2-year milestone. Proxies eager to try Version 3.1 of Zenless Zone Zero will get to pick a free S-Rank Agent, choose from a plethora of outfits, get to meet another new Void Hunter, and many more things.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 Brings a Free S-Rank Agent and Dozens of Free Pulls
Today, HoYoverse had its Special Program for Version 3.1 of Zenless Zone Zero, which arrives on July 29. As usual, it brings a new story, new S-Rank characters, events, but most importantly, the long-awaited second anniversary celebration, which already looks bigger than the one we had last year.
Before diving into all the goodies Proxies will get, there are two new characters coming for this version. First, Remielle Dan, the next playable Void Hunter who wields the Lumiflux attribute for the first time. Alongside her, Aria will get a rerun. For the second half of this Version, we will see the debut of Sigrid, an S-Rank Ice Agent, and a triple rerun banner with Dialyn, Yuzuha, and Harumasa.
There are even more S-Rank Agents coming in this version as rewards, though. Jane, Soldier 0 – Anby, Hugo, Trigger, and Lucia will be part of the second anniversary event, and players will be able to pick one of them, alongside their W-Engine. And speaking of rewards, you can also expect 1,600 Polychrome and 20 Encrypted Master Tapes.
Of course, every Zenless Zone Zero version needs events, and 3.1 isn’t an exception. We are getting a summer event again, with some seasonal skins returning, as well as Lucy, Remielle, and Sigrid getting their own outfits. Beyond that, there are also some quality-of-life updates coming. One of the most requested is the ability to have a bigger Agent pool from the standard banner, which will be possible now. Starting in 3.1, players will be able to add Caesar, Yanagi, and Zhu Yuan. Keep in mind that the pool will remain at 6 characters; remember to swap some of them out correctly.
Last but certainly not least, Zenless Zone Zero also unveiled something we were not expecting during its 3.1 Special Program, and that is a crossover with Honkai: Star Rail. While we don’t know what it is about, it is coming around Q4 2026, which isn’t that far away now, so it will be exciting to see these two HoYoverse titles collide.
As you can see, the anniversary is looking excellent, and many players are already excited about the new characters, events, and outfits. So, start wrapping everything up from the current version and get ready to start the 2-year celebration next week.
