The Tour de Inferno is about to begin and all proxies will get to visit the Outer Ring in Version 1.2 of Zenless Zone Zero. While the game’s launch was packed with content, HoYoverse didn’t slow things down. On the contrary, Version 1.2 is packed with events, new characters, a whole new area to explore, and probably a few new juicy commissions. So, if you want to know what’s next for everyone’s favorite Proxies, you should dust off your agents and prepare for a wasteland adventure.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.2 Launches on September 25
Mark your calendars, Proxies, because in two weeks, we’ll travel to the Outer Ring. While we already had a bit of information regarding the game’s biker faction, it is nice to finally see them debut in the game with a proper story and many events. Plus, two more playable characters of this faction will debut, so if you have some Polychrome, it’s time to save up.
Furthermore, in the recent Special Program, HoYoverse unveiled everything coming to this update, and to make it easier for you, we’ve compiled everything here.

Besides the new characters and items, there are many events coming to Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.2, starting with ten free Encrypted Master Tapes and ten free Boopons. Furthermore, there are a few quality-of-life changes coming with the update, such as the ability to gather unclaimed observation data, the ability to gather extra battery charge, similar to HSR‘s extra Trailblaze Power, and create Agent presets for all content.
Last but not least, there will also be new events, some of which will reward Polychrome, a free Lucy, Agent materials, and much more. So, if you’ve been away from Zenless Zone Zero, there’s time to prepare before Version 1.2 hits the game. You’ll likely have to finish all Phateon’s quests up to those in Version 1.1, so hurry up with them so you can ride alongside the Sons of Calydon.
