For Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse decided that all the action would occur in New Eridu, and the leaks show two areas for the city map. In a previous interview with the game’s producer, Li Zhenyu revealed that New Eridu would be the primary setting for the story. However, the developers will add map expansions as the story needs them. So far in the teaser, fans have only had a sneak peek of what the in-game zones will look like for its release date sometime in 2024.

In the trailers of the upcoming HoYoverse game, the characters presented themselves and their abilities. The day-to-day life of the characters shows the streets, transportation, stores, and even construction zones in New Eridu. But the leaker, Palito, shared images of two new parts of the urban map that players could explore. One of the areas is Sky Scraper, a modern and luxurious building on the inside but with structural damage on the upper floors. Some Hollow might arrive in this area, and now the characters must make the area safe again.

The second leaked map is Cretan, which looks like a train and cargo terminal inside Zenless Zone Zero. Also, this part is an industry or construction company, like the style of the Belobog Industries team. Unlike the Sky Scraper, Cretan has indoor and outdoor parts with different ambient lights; even in the images, it is raining on the map. This could indicate that the passage of time in the game, as in real life, can affect the weather and climate in ZZZ, similar to Genshin Impact. But these are just leaks and speculations from the fan community, so fans must wait for the Zenless Zone Zero release date to find out more.
