It’s no surprise that the gachas constantly introduce new characters with unique skills. However, everyone loses their heads over the designs of the new playable characters in each version. Boy, the controversy always flares up as soon as we see the drip marketing and demos of HoYoverse. Yanagi got the same treatment, but now with her first ZZZ demo, which shows what kind of mommy this waifu is.
It mainly shows how Yanagi is always thinking about work, constantly checking her schedule, and keeping everyone under control. Yet, as in other ZZZ demos, the jiggle physics did not take long to wait for Yanagi’s great personality. There are also other interesting subtle scenes in which we see Yanagi with her heels or showing her ankle for a few frames. Or more elaborate animations like her kicking her sword or the infamous Soukaku hug, in which many of us would like to change places with the blue demon. This caused all kinds of reactions from users:

The main attraction and fascination of the players was the seemingly “simple” but elegant design. Also, the look with glasses drew a lot of players’ interest.

Also, more than one talked about the financial problem of keeping up with all the banners on ZZZ. Especially since the last S-Rank characters remain at the top of the tier lists for power and best waifus in-game.

Another 100$ down the drain I guess. This has been an ongoing problem since Qingyi sadly. Not even a skippable agent, and when there is, they have to put them behind this goddess. Wish me luck folks.
Both the demo and Yanagi had a tremendous initial reception from the ZZZ fan community. However, I hope that the same thing will not happen with the Jane Doe or Burnice demos, which were not exactly for a more family-friendly audience and caused a considerable backlash. Many love this kind of character, and we must remember that HoYoverse appeals to a more adult audience with ZZZ in contrast to games like Genshin Impact.
