It’s been a fantastic year for Zenless Zone Zero. We got to experience the game’s second season, meet a whole new cast of characters, and keep getting hooked by the intriguing story of the Waifei Peninsula. However, it isn’t over yet, as the game still has one more major update to wrap a successful 2025. Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.5 is coming soon, and it brings two new playable agents, including the highly anticipated dual-form Void Hunter, a free outfit for all players, and a plethora of rewards that will kick off 2026 full of Polychrome for your next pulls.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.5 Launches on December 30
In case you missed today’s Special Program, you should know that Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.5 will launch on December 30. With it comes the debut of Ye Shunguang, a new S-Rank Agent who wields two forms in combat, and Zhao, an S-Rank Ice Defense Agent.
Contrary to previous versions, 2.5 will not have the usual two phases in terms of banners. Instead, Ye Shunguang and Zhao will run for the entirety of the update. Three agents will join these two new playable characters for a re-run: Soldier 0 – Anby, Astra Yao, and Alice. So, if you missed any of those Agents, now’s the time to pull.
Beyond that, there’s a plethora of rewards coming for all Proxies, including a free Zhao, combat enhancements for Soldier 11, Soldier 0 – Anby, Ellen, and Burnice, as well as improvements to Shiyu Defense and Deadly Assault.
The rewards don’t stop there, however, as Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.5 will also give out a free costume for Jane Doe. Other free gifts include 1,000 Polychrome, which you’ll be able to use to pull in any of the banners or save them up for later. The Filmgoer event will let Proxies accumulate tickets after purchasing certain items, and when they reach a certain number of items, they’ll be able to pick from 9 S-Rank Agents, including those in the Standard Banner, as well as Burnice, Jane, and Qingyi. If that wasn’t enough, there are many more events coming with this update, including some combat-oriented ones, and even one featuring the long-awaited Angels of Delusion.
As you can see, Zenless Zone Zero is ready to say goodbye to an amazing 2025, but also welcome a promising 2026 with all these Agents and rewards that are up for grabs for all Proxies. So, mark your calendars and start wrapping up all the things you have pending on the current update, because there are a lot of events arriving in the following weeks.
