The Zombieland franchise has received an extremely anticipated new addition. A decade after the original became a cult classic the stars and director have reunited… for zombie-killing. This promises to be one of the most faithful sequels in the recent past. With a storyline that goes from the white house to the heartland, this sequel is a road trip unto itself. The four heroes we’ve come to love will now have to face newly evolved zombies as well as human survivors.Â
Just in time for the major movie sequel release of Zombieland: Double Tap, we have a new game available. Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip is available now on Xbox One, PS4, Switch, and PC. You can watch the release trailer here and see why everyone is excited.Â
What type of Zombie game is it?
In the GameMill production, a top-down twin-stick shooter, we see what happened between the two films. This ridiculously fun zombie shooter has a local co-op multiplayer for up to four people to take on the zombies. Also coming with this new game is a ‘Horde’ mode that will keep you zombie hunting for hours! You can play as all of the stars of the original movie, Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock. Not to mention unlocking new characters from the sequel, out on October 18.
Not one to simplify the coming zombie apocalypse, this game allows you several methods to survive. You can utilize special abilities not seen in the films to combat the coming horde. There is an arsenal of weaponry to take the heads off your enemies as well. But most of all, you must use the all-important Zombieland rules to survive. The most memorable of which, of course, is the Double Tap. If you enjoyed the original movie or are planning to see the sequel, check this game out for sure. It’s the best way to find out what happened between the movies to the zombie hunters. Not to mention it’s the only way to get more Zombieland fun.
