Cranston, primarily known for his role as Walter White in Breaking Bad, has a pretty iconic face and voice at this point. While he has played many great characters over his long acting career, it’s easy to picture him in the Zordon role.

The new movie, due to be released in March of 2017, is currently in the middle of filming. While Zordon may not be a massive part of the movie (after all, he is just a floating head), his arch nemesis Rita (to be played by Elizabeth Banks) is sure to be front and centre.
It’s unclear at this point if Cranston has signed on for more than one film. Lionsgate has planned out seven Power Rangers movies over the next 10 years or so, so it’s possible we’ll be seeing more of him.
In other Power Rangers news (via Twitter), a new teaser poster for the film has been revealed. It’s a moody feel compared to the campy-90’s vibe from the series, check it out!
