Five Nights at Freddy’s World, the latest FNaF project of creator Scott Cawthorn, will be released on Steam February 19. Cawthorn announced the information a few days ago, saying that he also plans on releasing the game on Android and iOS in the weeks after that. The game will even be available on GameJolt in a demo version.
Cawthorn’s newest game in the franchise is different than the first four. While FNaF games are usually focused on scaring the pants off of you, FNaF World will be focusing on a more cutesy aspect of the characters. The RPG game will allow you to create teams of your favorite characters to take down other characters – and it looks as if nearly every character in Freddy Fazbear’s world will be available.
One of the biggest deviations from the previous FNaF games is the aspect of control. Usually, the main character and the only playable one is the one trying to prevent any of the animatronics from catching him. FNaF World is the complete opposite, as you are controlling everyone from Balloon Boy to Freddy Fazbear himself. With such a big change from the previous games, it will be interesting to see how fans react to FNaF World.
