Olivia Dunne had Instagram scrutinizing every last deal of her two-photo share earlier this year. In a February post showing her on the mat, the LSU gymnast delivered a stunning move before joining her team as she told the ‘Gram it was “our pleasure,” but her followers appeared only interested in picking the photos apart.
Despite gaining over 500,000 likes, Olivia found her body commented on by a hugely popular comment, one asking what was “wrong” with her “cheeks” in the second slide. Dunne has risen from college gymnast to become the most-followed NCAA athlete on social media, boasting over 7 million TikTok followers and upwards of 5 million on Instagram. The latter also sees her followed by Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin.
Olivia Dunne Shows Off Gymnast Skillset On Instagram
Lying on her side as she supported most of her body weight on one arm, Olivia sent fans a massive smile as she posed in a pale purple, jewel-studded leotard that shouted out the LSU Tigers’ signature color.
Flaunting her super-toned legs and built rear, Livvy raised one arm as she lay on a purple mat while a crowd watched her, looking happier than ever and wearing her light blonde hair up in a ponytail.
In a swipe right, Dunne was seen being hugged by a fellow team member, this time photographed from behind as she showcased her lean figure barefoot. Flashing some cheek, the Sports Illustrated Swim face hid her face, but her joyful energy was palpable. “Our pleasure,” she wrote.
Fans Pick Her Apart
Shooting right up to the top of the comments and gaining over 600 likes was a fan saying: “Wtf is wrong with her cheeks in the second photo.”
While some didn’t take too kindly to Livvy’s body being commented on, and one fan said: “Not a damn thing!” another replied: “It’s called a half wedgie.” Fortunately for Dunne, the majority of replies were flattering. “I’m signing up for gymnastics,” one user said. Another told the Plantfuel ambassador that they “need” her “workout routine.” That said, another popular reply alleged that a little editing might have been going on. Also gaining upwards of 600 likes was a fan who wrote: “Normally her photoshop is pretty discrete…..”
Not long after her mat share, Olivia returned for a stunning series of snapshots announcing her latest promotional role with lifestyle brand Nautica. “So excited to be the face of the Nautica Spring ‘24 collection,” Olivia wrote on February 15.
Olivia even posted from Times Square in NYC to show off the massive billboard ad for the brand, looking both surprised and thrilled to see herself blown up in the center of the Big Apple.
