One reason why users are swarming the Call of Duty social media accounts on the internet is the many bugs that still exist in Warzone and Black Ops 6. Now, BO6 is a new game, and it’s okay to have a few stutters here and there, but for the 5-year-old Warzone, it’s not normal. Yearly integration? Yes, that’s one big issue that stops the developers from polishing the game. But with every update, the dev team will try fixing the issues in both games. Let’s hope they resolve these 10 bugs before Season 3 at least.
10. Prestige Menu
I’ve progressed for 55 levels, and I’ve earned myself a spot on the new Prestige. However, the game throws me back to the menu. For some reason, you’ll have to restart your game to be able to level up your Prestige in both games. The error mostly occurs when you’re in a lobby with other players, and the same can be said about when you want to change your clan tag too.
9. Loadouts Reset
The loadout reset after each Prestige level upgrade is fine; we can get along with the rules, but where’s the weapon I just built before the match? This bug usually happens when you build a class in Warzone pre-match or mid-game in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer.
8. Weapons Price Hike!
I remember being able to buy the weapons for only $2500 from the buy stations last year and it was pretty consistent in Warzone. But why is a normal SMG with 5 attachments a $6000 deal now? Is it because the devs don’t want me to give it to my friend who hasn’t unlocked the gun yet? Nobody knows! But honestly, in a game where a loadout package costs only $10K in Duos, paying more than half of that money for a single gun is brutal.
7. Loadout Weapon’s Rarity Reset
This is a rather confusing bug rather than an actual game-breaker. Sometimes, I swap my loadout weapon with a gun on the ground, and then later, I can’t find it. But if you pay close attention, your gun is slated as a zero attachment weapon on the ground, but it’s your customized asset when you pick it. So, I have no idea if it’s a bug or if they’ve done this to prevent other players from picking your weapons. If that’s the case, why the enemy guns are not marked like that when we kill them? Not cool.
6. Attachments Not Equipped in The Game
This happens with a few weapons only, like the Sirin 9mm special that was added to the game with Season 1 Reloaded. Regardless, it’s so weird when you put an attachment on it, and it just doesn’t show up in the game when you grab your loadout. Warzone definitely has more bugs than Black Ops 6, and this is one of the worst.
5. Chest Opening Lag
Speaking of the worst, why in the crying Adler do I get lags and black screens when I open a chest?! This annoying bug has got me killed me so many times in Warzone because I just couldn’t just get a damn gun and get out of the situation. Treyarch, Raven Software, or whoever’s in charge of the game right now, please fix this.
4. Zombies Solo Is Not Working
I gave up on this a long time ago. Playing Black Ops 6 Zombies solo is like gambling now. You may get bugged out by the server and become a meal for zombies, or you might be super lucky and stay alive for a few more rounds. Regardless of your latency and connection, if the server decides, it’s over. You’ll be teleported back and forth, and there’s no way to get away. The solution is to play squads and turn off squad fill — crazy.
3. Hit-Reg Server Issues
I broke a DualSense controller that I cared about so much with this one. It’s so rare, but sometimes your shots just don’t register on the enemy’s body. This absurd situation is a server bug that happens more often in Warzone rather than Black Ops 6. Some people even claim that it’s a skill-based hit-reg, but I think that’s way off the menu.
2. Warzone Match Rejoin Doesn’t Spawn The Player
Sometimes, your game crashes, your internet connection is jumped, or maybe you accidentally press Alt+F4. The game gives you a second option to come back and rejoin your squad in Warzone, but it doesn’t work every time. You might join, but your countdown timer stays on -1 forever.
1. Loadout Pick Lag
Same as the chest opening bug, this Black Ops 6 Warzone visual disaster is another one of those bugs that’d send you right back to the lobby because you just can’t open your loadout crate in time and a nice camping buddy doesn’t stop pulling the trigger for one second.
