Tammy Slaton just got arrested on drug charges. We all know Tammy best from the 1000-Lb Sisters show, where she and her sis do their best to shed weight before it kills them. Tammy herself has done a solid job of shedding some weight while working on getting healthier. Many people have cheered her on from the sidelines, giving her credit for making some positive changes. Alas, all that was undone in August when she was arrested for drug possession.
Whatever assumptions people make, it is not as severe as it sounds for a straightforward reason. It was marijuana. The decriminalization of marijuana over the last half decade in the U.S. should at least work in her favor. Kentucky is not quite as progressive as the rest of the world regarding cannabis. Tammy Slaton got arrested but doesn’t seem that nervous about it.

On October 5, a pre-trial conference was held for her to try her best to work out a deal with the county’s lawyer, though we do not know the results of that quite yet. Her response to the whole thing was to post a vid of her dancing to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” showing she is not too worried about the entire ordeal. Tammy Slaton got arrested, but she needs to take it more seriously.
But perhaps she should refrain from posts like that, as they will undoubtedly be brought into the trial as evidence against her if she is not careful.
