To nobody’s surprise, Kanye West is still bitter about many people in his past, with his X account serving as his diary (or hit list). Kanye has thus revealed in a recent (and now-deleted tweet) that missing his chance to perform at the Super Bowl was because of three misfortunes he had in the past, and Taylor Swift is one of those.
The post was quickly erased along with other notorious posts in the past, but some have managed to take a screenshot of the tirade. In it, Kanye stated that:
“I never was allowed to do the Super Bowl because of 3 moments
George Bush don’t care about black people
The Taylor Swift movement moment
Wearing a MAGA hat
How it feel to be the best living and blocked from the main stage because of being ahead of my time
(And I mean all of this before I went full Nazi of course)”
Thanks to Newsweek for preserving Kanye’s tweet
Kanye was most likely referring to the part where he upstaged Taylor Swift back in the 2009 MTV Awards so he could suck up to Beyoncé and Jay-Z. It appears Kanye is blaming both Taylor Swift and Taylor Swift fans (and possibly Swift’s current boyfriend, Travis Kelce) for why the Super Bowl never considered him for a live performance.
Ironically enough, Kanye has burned bridges with Beyoncé and Jay-Z and even called their children the r-word, and the couple for whom he practically ruined his Super Bowl chance are now his enemies. At the moment, Kanye is cozying up to Sean “Diddy” Combs for his choice of Hollywood “ally.”
Meanwhile, Kanye’s blaming of former US President Bush stemmed from his 2005 comment on national TV during a donation campaign to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. Of course, the MAGA hat and full-fledged support for Donald Trump back in 2016 practically sealed Kanye’s fate as one of the most notorious celebrities ever.
Kanye Has Been Doubling Down on His Taylor Swift Beef
Even prior to his latest Taylor Swift beef tweet, Kanye has been riding on the Taylor Swift hate wagon for decades. Back in 2016, Kanye called Swift a “b—ch” in his song “Famous” without permission. Kanye even asked Taylor to release the song on her Twitter account, which the country singer declined.
Now, after deleting his tweet about the Super Bowl snub and who’s to blame for it, Kanye also kept insulting Taylor Swift on his X account with further tweets and comments, this time going full misogyny and body-shaming.
Of course, it’s not the worst thing Kanye has done this decade. Because apart from supporting Diddy, calling children the r-word, and supporting Trump and Elon Musk, he has also declared himself as a neo-Nazi and even praised Hitler in a previous tweet while also hurling some anti-semitic remarks.
Back in March, however, both Beyoncé and Jay-Z were reportedly considering legal action against Kanye for attacking their children online.
