Players will guide the pink puffball through colourful levels, absorbing enemies and copying their abilities. The big change, however, lies in the inclusion of a new mech suit. Kirby can pilot the suit and use it to plow down enemies, tear through roadblocks and levels, and generally wreak havoc.

Based on the brief trailer, Kirby can apply his copied abilities to his robotic suit. We see a suit with blades for hands, with propellers protruding out of its head and even one that bears a striking resemblance to Meta Knight.

Kirby: Planet Robobot will feature Kirby's trademark cuteness and copying.

A new multiplayer mode known as Team Kirby Clash will be included in the game. It will let players team up to take on bosses, and fight through many of the games challenges.

Four new Amiibos: Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight and the Waddle Dees, are also being released for use in the game. All previously released Amiibo can also be utilized, with each figure imbuing Kirby with a new attack.

Kirby: Robobot looks to bring Kirby back to his side scrolling roots.
Kirby has changed a lot throughout his adventures.

Kirby: Planet Robobot will release on June 10 for 3DS.
