You can absolutely play Roblox games in VR. On the Meta Quest 2, I downloaded the app off of the Store and was able to play just about everything in Roblox using the headset. Of course, some games are far better (or can exclusively be played) in VR. After scouring every VR experience in the Roblox app, these are the five Roblox VR games that are the best to play in 2024.
5. Crazy Stairs + VR
Crazy Stairs + VR is especially fun because the experience is different for those playing on their PC versus on VR. The objective of the game for PC users is to climb the many sets of stairs and make it to the top without falling or being attacked. How do you get attacked? By the players who have joined in VR. In either of your hands, you can carry colored balls with different abilities. All you need to do is point at what you want to throw the ball at and hurl it at other players. In VR, you act as an omniscient player who can freely move around the staircase without climbing it. In many ways, this version of the game is much more fun than racing your friends to get to the top.

It’s always NERF or nothing. NERF Strike is essentially a friendly Call of Duty filled with team matches and free-for-all match types. You can play with friends and earn new blasters, abilities, scopes, and more to fully customize you and your loadout. It’s not a game that you have to exclusively play in VR, but it’s definitely much better if you do. There are also codes you can add to the game to earn the above without having to work nearly as hard.
3. Cook Burgers
I very much enjoy simulation games. Something about getting to do a mundane job in an atmosphere where no one can yell at you is exhilarating. I mean, we all enjoyed Job Simulator, right? Cook Burgers puts you in the shoes of a burger flipper who happens to also be the waiter and manager. Patrons order their food and it’s up to you to ensure that each meal is up to their standards. Just be wary of everything you can do on outside of the restaurant in the mostly-explorable world.
2. Skywinds
Skywinds reminds me a lot of both arcade games and some of the first Wii games that were released. The objective is to choose from different missions and shoot planes down using a machine gun. The gun is stationary, so you need to use the scope and your visual prowess to hit the targets and ensure the safety of your team. It can get a little repetetive after a while, but I happen to be a fan of stationary action titles like Time Crisis and House of the Dead, so this was a good change of pace in comparison to the other games on the list.
1. VR Hands
VR Hands was the most fun Roblox experience that I had in VR. It’s essentially a playroom where those with VR headsets can play a variety of games together. You can float over to different stations to play games like chess, archery, and RC boat driving. It’s a very basic VR game, but having the freedom to do whatever you want is a lot more fun than you can imagine. This was the game I spent the most time in partly because I was playing chess with another player on the communal board.
