5. Space Suits
This might come as a surprise for many due to other Bethesda titles having a lot of armor pieces lying around waiting to be sold. For Starfield, though, we recommend you hold on to Space Suits. Given how much exploring you’ll do, having extra Space Suits is necessary because every planet has hazards. Most suits will protect you from certain elements, and you’ll need to change between them as you land on new planets. Plus, coming across Space Suits is rare, which means you need to treat each one like a treasure. So, if you’re tempted to sell one of your suits, we advise against it.
4. Legendary Weapons
This is something usual in RPGs. In any game of this genre, selling Legendary Weapons is never a good idea. While they might give you a lot of cash, you won’t find many. Also, given the amount of build possibilities in Starfield, you should keep all your Legendary Weapons. When you find one, hold on to it or keep it on display instead of running to the closest merchant to make some credits. It is always better to have a few Legendary Weapons you can swap around instead of selling them and losing some of the game’s greatest items.
3. Treatment Medicine
The planets in Starfield are dangerous, so Treatment Medicine is one of the items you should never sell. Believe it or not, this game has many ailments that might remind players of the Fallout series. You can break your limbs, get hypothermia, or get any other ailments requiring treatment. That’s when Treatment Medicine comes in. While it might be tempting to sell, you should always keep this item in your inventory because you never know when you’ll get hurt while exploring one of the many planets in the game.
2. Ships
Ships are your main way of transportation, and while they can fetch a good price, never sell one. While you can buy many at certain Spaceports, we recommend not selling them. Once you start exploring more planets, you’ll come across certain missions that’ll require different ships. You might pursue a bounty and need a fast ship or do a cargo run that’ll need a larger one. Given how many things and missions the game throws, hold on to every ship you find.

Last but not least, we have resources. This might come as a surprise given how some might be used to gathering resources and then selling them. However, these are items you should never sell in Starfield. While they will net you many credits, you will also need them to craft certain items, research projects, and build bases. All of these are activities that need many resources, and if you sell every single one you find, you’ll be struggling to enjoy some of the game’s biggest features. So, whenever you explore a new planet, gather as many things as possible and keep them close until you use them.
