Respawn Entertainment somehow made an improved sequel in less time than it did to make most AAA games. Star Wars Jedi Survivor might be over for some people who got their hands on it early or did a speedrun whenever they got access, but there are plenty of things to do after beating it. No matter what you like to do when finishing a game, you will have plenty of reasons to go back into this universe.
Many of the things to do in Star Wars Jedi Survivor are baked right into the experience. With so much to do, it is hard to get a 100% run on the first try. So, some of these options are perfect for you completionists, while others are creative things you can do for fun.
5. Speedrunning a New Playthrough
(Updated on August 27, 2024 – updated links and format)
As the highly anticipated sequel will like to sell an ungodly amount of copies, there will be bound to be people wanting to speedrun it. Mainlining the story is one way to do this, but as people get creative, you can come up with ways for your shortcuts. Between various ways to travel from mounts to zip-lines, you have loads of methods of getting around planets in a speedy fashion. It might just be for personal pride, but whatever your reasons are, there are ways to get around the campaign quickly for your enjoyment. Just make sure you have a timer on hand.
4. Complete Side Missions
Side quests are new things Respawn Entertainment introduced to its side of the universe. By helping locals, Cal can make planets safer as he clears out hostile forces of stormtroopers or can ease the minds of people who have lost some friends in a mine. Due to the open zones on some planets, you will have plenty of side quests you can miss. Thankfully, you can go in on New Game Plus to cross off any objectives you may have missed.
3. Get Every Achievement/Trophy
Achievement and Trophy hunters rejoice as Jedi: Survivor and any other game released will never run dry of things to do for you until you complete that list of Achievements/Trophies. While many of these are hard to miss, like story-based Achievements or killing X number of stormtroopers, Respawn’s latest Star Wars project has plenty of missable targets for you that will be perfect when you are finished with the story.
The creative ones can revolve around traveling to combat. In some instances, you will have fun goals, like Now, This Isn’t Podracing (Travel 500m of distance while riding creatures). In others, you will need to be checking things off for a long period when clearing all Jedi Chambers (Star Tours). From the long-haul to short-term Achievements/Trophies, you will have plenty of tasks ahead of you.
2. Gather All Collectibles
Cosmetics and other collectibles are littered throughout the universe. Each planet has plenty of missable crates with new outfits or lightsaber parts. These are nothing too new for players of Fallen Order, who are familiar with the game’s cosmetics, even though this time around, it is greatly expanded.
Of things to do after beating Star Wars Jedi Survivor, you have new collectibles that will be fun and rewarding. Jedha Scrolls are fun to find and grab, but they also can be used as currency. You might be a Jedi, but you still need cash to buy things you want or need. Other resources can be used as currency while acting as a collectible. Each NPC wanting these resources are specific about what they want, so you know what to look for and who to give it to. These rewards are the way Respawn delivers rewards while giving you activities to keep you occupied.
1. Boss Hunting
Of the many things that you can miss, like side quests, bosses are another. If you explore while finding things to do after beating Star Wars Jedi Survivor, you may come across some brutal bosses that will pummel you, even in late-game when you are overpowered. From beasts to other threats lurking in the shadows, you never know where going off the beaten path may take you, and that place might be deadly. Bosses will deliver a great challenge with a satisfying reward and experience boost.
