Kendrick Lamar is set to headline the 2025 Super Bowl. However, Jay-Z was also supposed to perform. Jay-Z even called Lamar a “once-in-a-generation artist.”

Given the recent allegations surrounding Jay-Z, this seems like a good move from the NFL. 50 seems to believe that “they won’t necessarily be associated with that” regarding the NFL’s stance on Jay-Z’s situation. “I’m asking for Kendrick. I’m just trying to figure out if we’re still doing everything,” the rapper, 49, explained in his X post about next year’s Super Bowl halftime show set to be headlined by Kendrick Lamar. (Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has produced the halftime show since 2020.)
50 Cent, whose real name is Shawn Carter, seems to believe that the NFL may up and cancel its partnership with Jay-Z after these rumors have surfaced. Since the lawsuit was filed on Sunday, Jay and his long-time friend, Diddy, who is already in prison, have denied these claims wholeheartedly. However, evidence may point in the direction of the defendants being guilty.
According to the source, the two allegedly sexually assaulted the 13-year-old girl in the year 2000. It was reported that the incident occurred during an after-party for the MTV Music Awards. These new allegations come after Diddy has already been arrested twice on counts of sex crimes, including trafficking.
Diddy has been in hot water for some time now. It all started when the rapper’s home was raided by federal agents. The feds found plenty of incriminating evidence inside the singer’s home. However, Diddy was not arrested at that time. That would come later. Combs would then be allowed bail. Although Sean’s freedom would be short-lived as he would be placed in prison not too long after.
