90 Day Fiance alum Varya Malina can’t help but get emotional as she spent another Valentine’s Day without Geoffrey Paschel. The Russian native took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt post about her longtime partner.
Varya posted a series of throwback photos with Geoffrey from their time together before his imprisonment. In one picture, the couple looked all loved up while posing in front of a big Ferris wheel. Another shot showed Geoffrey giving Varya a big kiss on the cheek.
“Happy Valentine’s Day,” the 90 Day Fiance star captioned the post. “I won’t lie it’s hard here without you.”

One commenter reminded Varya that Geoffrey will be in prison for over a decade, suggesting she’s wasting her time waiting for him. Another chimed in, saying life is too short and that she deserves someone better.

90 Day Fiance: Varya Remains Hopeful
Geoffrey Paschel is currently serving an 18-year prison sentence after being found guilty of aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault, and interference with emergency calls. The former reality star was sentenced in October 2021.
Geoffrey still has a long way to go in his jail time, but Varya remains hopeful. In February 2023, the 90 Day Fiance star admitted in her IG Stories that she’s a “hopeless optimist” when it comes to her inmate lover.
“Knowing the case, speaking to multiple lawyers, I am very positive of the outcome, and I’m waiting for it,” she explained. “Should be soon, though.”
In 2021, Varya put her Florida house for sale and moved into Geoffrey’s Tennessee home to care for his dogs. The reality star also manages his rental properties.
