Wonder Woman 1984 is a year away from release but that hasn’t stopped director Patty Jenkins from teasing the super-powered sequel with fans.

The 47-year-old filmmaker hit Twitter with the first poster for the movie, showing Gal Gadot taking center-stage as Wonder Woman, dressed in golden armor. You can check out the photo below:

By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full–  But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait… pic.twitter.com/QllFzhYRA6

Alongside the post, Jenkins posted:

“By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full–  But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait…”

Jenkins, of course, is referencing Warner Bros’ decision to not attend Hall H this year at San Diego Comic-Con, instead choosing to focus on ScareDiego. There, they will set their efforts to promoting horror flick It: Chapter Two, which is set to hit screens on September 6th, 2019.

So, while the lack of WB in Hall H means no Wonder Woman 1984 promotion, Jenkins and the team will be able to start their campaign in December – plenty of time before the film’s final release on June 5th, 2020.

Right now, details surrounding Wonder Woman 1984 are somewhat vague. Even Patty Jenkins herself didn’t reveal much when discussing the film’s period setting at the end of last month. Talking about the year 1984, she said:

“All I can say is that 1984 itself is definitely very evocative to what’s important in that movie and resonates with right now. I picked 1984 for a very specific reason. I think it was the pinnacle of the success in the ’80s, in my opinion, because it’s before the market started to get a little more struggling as the ’80s went on. And it was like the top of the top. It was such an incredible time. I feel like there’s something about the excess of that period of time, which is so linked up to where we are in the world right now, that it’s set there for a reason. That’s all I can say.

As well as Wonder Woman 1984, DC fans can expect to see Birds of Prey on the silver screen on February 7th, 2020.
