At E3 this week Bandai Namco announced the next entry in the long-running “Tales of” series, Tales of Arise. Yusuke Tomizawa is directing development. His previous works include the God Eater franchise. Could this mean we might see more Monster Hunter-esque mechanics in this title? We will have to wait and see. Tales of Arise - E3 Announcement Trailer | PS4, X1, PC

As you can see from the trailer, Tales of Arise will be releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. It will be releasing sometime next year, with a specific date not yet announced. I’m a big fan of the series myself, with Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Zestiria being two of my favorite games. So I was very excited by this announcement and it was one of the highlights of Microsoft’s conference.
