At E3 this week Bandai Namco announced the next entry in the long-running “Tales of” series, Tales of Arise. Yusuke Tomizawa is directing development. His previous works include the God Eater franchise. Could this mean we might see more Monster Hunter-esque mechanics in this title? We will have to wait and see. In the meanwhile be sure to check out the awesome new trailer that dropped with the announcement.

Tales of Arise - E3 Announcement Trailer | PS4, X1, PC

As you can see from the trailer, Tales of Arise will be releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. It will be releasing sometime next year, with a specific date not yet announced. I’m a big fan of the series myself, with Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Zestiria being two of my favorite games. So I was very excited by this announcement and it was one of the highlights of Microsoft’s conference.
