With the release just over 2 weeks away, it’s time for fans to get excited for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. To celebrate the impending launch, EA has dropped the official launch trailer and boy does it look good.
Set after the events of Star Wars Episode III, Fallen Order stars a young Padawan by the name of Cal Kestis who is on the run following a purge of the Jedi. Throughout the game, Cal is set to be chased by the Second Sister, an evil Inquisitor who was trained by none other than Darth Vader himself.
With the promise of familiar characters appearing, I’m willing to bet that we will see Vader pop up at some point. He is the most famous “face” of the franchise after all. Great villains always outshine the heroes, at least in my opinion, you may disagree.
It also wouldn’t be Star Wars unless there was an awesome and cute droid in tow. In Fallen Order that duty falls to BD-1, who can be seen prominently in the trailer. Not only does he look as great as we’d expect from a Star Wars droid, but he also seems to have some features as the trailer shows him being used to slide down a wire.
Take a look at the trailer for yourselves and see what you think:
Excited yet?
It’s been too long since we’ve had a great single-player Star Wars game and Fallen Order looks like it could be the game we’ve all been waiting for. Letting players become a master of a lightsaber and the force would be a hard thing to mess up completely as the two are so iconic. The fact that the synopsis also states the idea is to use your lightsaber and force powers to deal with the situations thrown at you rather than utilizing stealth means I am completely on board with this title.
Let’s hope that fans aren’t bitterly disappointed this November.
What did you think of the trailer, are you excited to join the Dark Light side of the force? Or are you kinda done with this franchise right now? Let us know in the comments.
Either way, there’s not too long to wait, as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order releases on November 15th and will be available on PlayStation 4,
