PlayStation Plus has confirmed the January 2020 line-up for returning subscribers of the service. With the subscription, players can pick up both Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collectionย and Goat Simulator.ย Admittedly, we’re just as confused as you are about this one. However, despite the odd fixtures, Sony fans can enjoy two of the most influential games of the PlayStation 4 era. In fact, thanks to the generous gift of bundling the first three Uncharted games in one package, gamers can enjoy not only two free games this month โ€“ but four. That’s a worthy investment in our books โ€“ and an overall great kickstart to the year.

Uncharted follows the heroic Nathan Drake throughout several mind-boggling journeys across the globe in search of ancient history and treasure. With enough bullet storms, blockbuster chases, and nail-biting plot twists, players can soak up the award-winning trilogy which flawlessly defined a genre and proved to be a staple to the land of adventure. Now, thanks to PS Plus, The Nathan Drake Collection can be downloaded and streamed from January 7th through to February 3rd.

Goat Simulator, on the other hand, is a game more aimed towards mindless vandalism, with you, the player, at the helm. As a goat. That’s essentially the flow of the experience which you’ll quickly come to learn. But, in the developer’s own words, Goat Simulator is โ€œall about causing as much destruction as you possibly can as a goat. It has been compared to an old-school skating game, except instead of being a skater, youโ€™re a goat, and instead of doing tricks, you wreck stuff. Destroy things with style, and youโ€™ll earn even more points!โ€

You can get your hands on both Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Goat Simulator on Tuesday 7th January. You can also pick up Titanfall 2 and Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Gameย from the December 2019 line-up until January 6th. We’ll leave the rest to you, PlayStation fans. Until next time!

Okay, so I'll likely be the English guy who attempts to cover American news. Actually, I'll probably be the guy who just tries to cover everything and eventually ends up sleep-deprived and broken. Hey, I chose the life of a journalist, so I guess I should accept these consequences sooner rather than later. Ah well - The Nerd Stash is worth it. If you've got something for me to cover, I'll probably do it.
