This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information.

Are you a fan of the brilliant 4vs1 horror game Dead by Daylight? Do you find yourself wanting to play it wherever you go on your phone? Well, I’ve got news for you, you can’t.

At least not yet.

Come spring that will all change as the game that has over 15 million players across consoles and PC will hit Android and IOS in a free download.

The official site promises the full console, and PC experience with some UI elements tweaked in order to fit the mobile platform better. We’ve seen it before with PUBG on mobile, and that has seemed to be fairly popular.

Dead by Daylight Mobile will be available in certain regions during Beta testing, and if you are interested, you can sign up for pre-registration and help earn rewards. These act as you’d expect Kickstarter goals to and will feature tiered rewards depending on how many people sign up.

Dead by Daylight

The rewards and number of registrations required are as follows:

  • Tier 1 (500K pre-reg): Weekend T-Shirt | Surf Tone; Hooded Training Top; Two-tone Coat; The Scarecrow; 2000 Iridescent Shards
  • Tier 2 (750K): Watermelon Pants; Sports Leggings; Red Flash Boots; Marked Spike Maul; 3000 Iridescent Shards
  • Tier 3 (1M): Preppy Flat cap; Jogging Headband; Colorful Headscarf; Bill Overbeck; 5000 Iridescent Shards

Depending on how much those Iridescent Shards cost and what exactly they do in Dead by Daylight Mobile, it could be well worth registering if you are even remotely curious about the game.

If you aren’t one of those 15 million players, you may be unaware of the game completely. I won’t explain everything here, but you may be interested in the review we published upon release.

For the rest of you, let us know if you’re excited to see Dead by Daylight released onto phones, or if you are just happy enough with it on your current platform of choice.

We’ll bring you more information when it comes in.
