So today is a day many people have been marking off on their calendars, its been 4 years since Rocksteady’s near perfect outing in the form of Batman: Arkham City and today’s the day we get to return to Gotham.

Batman: Arkham Knight is finally here and many PC adopters seem to be having a bad time with it, One of the main issues is the fact the game has been capped at 30 frames per second.Thankfully clever people have discovered all you need to do is open your Arkham Knight install directory, and navigate to, “\BmGame\Config\BmSystemSettings.ini”. In the config file, search for “Max_FPS=30”, and change it to “Max_FPS=9999”.

If you take a visit to Batman: Arkham Knights Steam page you’ll discover close to 2000 negative reviews and 800 positive, leading to a very bad vibe surrounding the game, especially as to leave a review you must have purchased the game first.

Other issues relating to the game claim a frame rate drop of over 10 fps on high-end GPU’s, numerous crashes and settings that top out at “high” instead of “ultra.” and this Master race is why I play console games.

Rocksteady has now acknowledged the issues, though no specific timetable for updates has yet been detailed. “We’re aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight,” writes community manager “CODA.” “This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible.”

Rocksteady are aware of the problems.

This will surely lead to an earful for the external team that developed the PC port.

The Batman Arkham series is probably one of the highest rated trilogy’s on MetaCritic, Batman: Arkham Asylum received an 92/100, Batman: Arkham City followed up that huge score by earning a 96/100 and as of reading Batman: Arkham Knight sits at 91/100.

Are you experiencing problems with the PC port?

Is this why you play console games like I do?
