As of recently, rumors started to spread online that Epic Games was going to give way GTA 5 for free. These rumors were then just confirmed just now, and here is what we know so far about Epic Games making GTA 5 free. These rumors were just confirmed by a promoted tweet that accidentally went live. After tomorrow GTA 5 will then become the biggest game Epic has given away so far. This announcement is also considerably intriguing as it appears to be Epic’s latest attempt at winning over both hearts and minds. As reported, by the site Comicbook.com the game will be free until May 21st. So far that’s all we know regarding this subject, Epic also hasn’t made an official announcement yet so we will have to wait until tomorrow to find out more. That said here’s a brief rundown of what you can expect from your free copy of GTA 5.

GTA 5 was first released back in 2014 and ever since has been a huge success and garnered critical acclaim. The game has both a massive singleplayer campaign and an even larger Online counterpart. Over the course of several years, the game has also received massive free content updates with the latest adding an in-game casino. The game is also currently available on both PC, last and current-gen consoles.

Also if you are interested, another game is being given away on the epic store. It is called Death Coming where you play as a grim reaper harvesting souls. The game is currently free until tomorrow at 11:00 Am so be sure to grab it beforehand. In the game, you cause accidents and find various ways to kill NPCs to harvest souls in a nonlinear sandbox using the environment around you.

So what do you guys think about Epic making GTA 5 free? Do you think Epic is trying to win over consumers to their store? let us know in the comments below and don’t forget to share the Nerdy news!
