In The Persistence, players must return a starship to Earth. While you are a clone of the chief security officer, it’ll take more than just skill. As a “printed” copy of the officer Zimri Elder, you have a daunting task ahead of you. The machine that printed you continues to malfunction and produces hordes of “printed” monstrosities. You must deal with these creatures as you venture through a continuously shifting environment.
The ship is also outfitted to change its own environment. Because of the malfunction plaguing the ship, this technology will work against you. Whether you inhabit a new body or need to make your way back to the engine room, the path you take will not be the same. What you experience will never be the same as your friend’s experience inย The Persistence.
The Persistenceย first released for PlayStation VR back in 2018. Seeing the fair amount of positive reception, developers have chosen to expand to other platforms we think this new console and PC release will offer a new way to play, and for those coming to The Persistence fresh, expect scares from beginning to end and pulse-racing play aplenty.
