After more than a decade of Persona 4 being released and re-released on Sony platforms (including the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Vita), PC gamers are finally able to play too.
During Saturday’s PC Gaming Show, Persona 4 Golden was announced for PC, then immediately released on Steam. That’s right, you can purchase it on Steam right now for $19.99. The Digital Deluxe edition includes the game, a digital art book, and the soundtrack for $24.99.
Persona 4 Golden PC Features
Key features of the PC version include variable frame rates, full HD graphics, Steam achievements, and trading cards, and an option for English or Japanese voiceovers. A trailer for the PC version was also released today.
Seeing Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller, who famously (and facetiously) hates on PC gaming all the time, appear at The PC Gaming Show was odd. But it all made sense when he announced Persona 4 Golden. Perhaps the most staunch defender of the PlayStation Vita, with the game now playable on PC, even Miller is able to admit Sony’s handheld is dead.
The PC Gaming Show had a number of other announcements as well, including survival game Icarus from the developer behind DayZ.
Persona 5 Royal released earlier this year on PlayStation 4, and we thought it was remarkable.
