Today’s Devolver Direct was a strange, yet intriguing look into the future of Devolver. You had several game reveals, but also Devolver’s usual silly weirdness through the eyes of Nina Struthers. It was quite the sight to watch, but most strange of them all was an announcement at the end of the show. Devolver Digital announce Devolverland Expo, a new first-person shooter bringing you through everything coming from Devolver. It was made by Flying Wild Hog, best known for its Shadow Warrior series. The team celebrated the launch of this strangely intriguing game with a launch trailer which you can find below.
Devolverland Expo takes place in an abandoned convention center, inside Devolver’s E3 event that was canceled for unknown reasons. As a random goer, wield your Devolver merchandise and adventure through the convention center to collect all the trailers, gameplay reveals, and even more. Along with that, discover why the convention was canceled through strange secrets. You can get all of this for completely free right now, as long as you have a Steam account. You can also check the rest of the announcements here.
If you’re incredibly confused by that trailer, then you aren’t alone. Devolverland Expo looks to be just as strange as the event was itself, but more in a playable format. I’m excited to jump in myself and experience each of the upcoming games in one way or another. Especially in the Fall Guys section, as I’m particularly excited about that title. It seems people are already loving the game too. It’s sitting at an 89% recommended rating with 250 reviewers, so it might be worth a go for you too.
If you’re going to hop in, be sure to let us know what you think of the game. Along with that, what were your favorite reveals from the event? Let us know, and stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for all your news, reviews, and more!
