In Stardew Valley there are countless items players will need to craft other items, and the Stardew Valley Battery Pack is no exception. This is because the Battery Pack is required to make six items in the game, some of which are very late game machines such as the Crystalarium or the Slime Egg-Press.

However, getting a Battery Pack is a little tricky compared to other items because there are only a few ways the item can be obtained. But don’t worry because in this guide we will show you exactly how to get yourself a Stardew Valley Battery pack.

How Do You Get a Stardew Valley Battery Pack?

Battery Packs in Stardew Valley are created from Lightning Rods during thunderstorm weather events and can be bought sometimes from the Traveling Cart for 1,500g or 2,500g. There are also a few other ways to obtain them, but the chances of obtaining the item from these other methods are relatively low. Nonetheless, you can find the other methods listed below if you keep reading.

Additional methods for obtaining Battery Packs

  • Iridium Bats have a 5% chance to drop Battery Packs as loot
  • Small chance it can drop from boxes and crates in the Skull Cavern
  • Kent and Pam can sometimes send you one in the mail

Overall, your best option for getting the Battery Pack is by either buying it or placing Lightning Rods around your farm. To get a Battery Pack from Lightning Rods, you must first place a Lightning Rod somewhere on your farm, and then wait for a lighting storm to happen. Once a lightning storm is happening, all you need to do next is simply sleep and progress onto the next day. After a day passes, you will be able to pick up a fully charged Battery from the Lightning Rod.

However, it is worth noting that it is not always guaranteed that lightning will strike your Lightning Rod so it would be ideal to place multiple rods around your farm to ensure at least one will have a pack. Once you have your Battery Pack, you can then use it for several things that will be listed below, or you can just simply sell it to Robin at the Carpenter’s Shop for 500g.

All items that require Battery Packs:

  • Crystalarium
  • Iridium Sprinkler
  • Mini-Jukebox
  • Iron Lamp-Post
  • Wood Lamp-Post
  • Slime Egg-Press

We hope this guide provided the answers you were looking for in regards to how to get a Stardew Valley Battery Pack. Furthermore, please feel free to let us know what you guys thought and share any feedback you may have in the comments below.
