After all these years, it’s strange to think that we are finally getting a true sequel to Crash Bandicoot 3, even stranger to think that it comes out next week.

Developed by Toys for Bob, the first numberedย Crashย game since 1998 will finally release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 2nd. I’m sure by now you are more than aware that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Timeย is on the horizon, and know that we are quite excited.

Having only been announced in late June of this year it’s quite impressive the amount of hype that’s been generated around the nextย Crash Bandicootย game, and to celebrate the impending release, Toys for Bob and publisher Activision has released a new launch trailer giving fans a great look at what to expect.

Take a look at it for yourselves:

Crash Bandicoot 4: Itโ€™s About Time โ€“ Gameplay Launch Trailer | PS4

It has to be said thatย Crash 4ย looks pretty nice and will hopefully bring back the gameplay fans loved from the original 3. Judging from a recent extended look at the gameplay, it seems as if we are back on track for the glory days. If you missed our coverage on it, you can check it out here.

Excitingly, the launch trailer confirms that a demo is now available for anyone who pre-ordersย Crash Bandicoot 4ย digitally, something I shall be doing when I’m finished writing. The trailer also confirms that character skins will be available first on PlayStation, should that be your thing.

Other than that, the trailer doesn’t really show much that we haven’t already covered in our Crash 4ย coverage before, so if you haven’t watched the extended gameplay trailer yet, I’d strongly recommend you do so and join us in our state of excitement.

We’ll be sure to let you know how it plays when we can, but in the meantime, head to the comments and give us your thoughts on this revival. With this and the triumphant return of Tony Hawk’sย 2020 could go down as one of the best years ever. Well, gaming-wise, at least.
