Armature Studio’s newest game Where The Heart Leads has been announced for a while now and was initially due to release at the end of this year. Now, after a name change from Where The Heart Is the game has been delayed, but it’s not all bad news as a new trailer and release window have been revealed. Where The Heart Leads will now release on the PlayStation 4, and PS5 via backwards compatibility, in Q2 2021, giving the developers plenty of time to add that extra polish and make it the best game it can be. Something that certain other developers should take note of.

I mentioned a new trailer, and here it is. Take a look, and let that excitement grow:

Where the Heart Leads "Choice" Trailer

In Where The Hearts Leads, players will take control of artist Whit Anderson, a man who, after trying to save his dog, falls down a sinkhole. In a plot that sounds vaguely familiar, Whit finds himself in a distorted reality that has the power to change his history by reaching back to moments that defined his life. In this surreal narrative journey, you must guide Whit through his memories where he’ll discover if the grass is greener, or if he has arrived at a point in life that he was always meant to be at. Seeing his journey from a young boy to an elderly man, the game could certainly be immersive and make you become quite attached to Whit.

Each choice made during the game will have consequences with hundreds of outcomes available as well as dozens of endings. There’s also said to be a 600,000-word script, which is the equivalent of five novels. There’s certainly plenty to be explored here, and I look forward to seeing more.

Where The Heart Leads will release exclusively on PlayStation in Q2 2021, be sure to let us know if you’re excited about it in the comments, and we’ll bring you more as it comes in.
