Bloober Team released a 14-minute trailer for their new horror game, The Medium. In this trailer, players can observe the shifting perspectives and the dual-screen gameplay in action.
This new 14-minute trailer works to lift the veil on the numerous perspectives and characters found in The Medium:
Marianne explore the real and spirit world both alternatively and simultaneously; showcasing the unique split-screen dual reality gameplay system that will see you play in two locations at the same time. Throughout the game players will be pushed and pulled seamlessly between these two worlds – with about a third of the action taking place in the real world, a third solely in the spirit world and a third in both realms simultaneously.
The trailer below also gives players a more in-depth look into the Maw (portrayed by Troy Baker). Like Marianne, The Maw can travel between worlds, but is blind and invisible in reality.
The Medium is set to release on January 28th, 2021, for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The game will be available on Game Pass upon release. It was originally set to release on December 10th, 2021, but it was one of a handful of games that delayed their release due to Cyberpunk 2077.
Preorders are available now, and those who order on Steam will get a 10% discount (bringing the price to $44.99). Preorder bonuses include The Medium Original Soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski and The Art of The Medium digital artbook.
