Recently, studio Techland has released the first trailer for Dying Light‘s story driven expansion, The Following. Players will return as free running hero Kyla Crane; as they explore a new area populated by crazed cultists. Apparently players will need to gain the cult’s trust by preforming various quests. In addition to the new story, various side quests, and the ability to upgrade a dune buggy will be available. Dying Light has always been a game about mobility and speed above all else, so it will be interesting to see how a vehicle plays into that dynamic. While no new zombie types have been formally introduced, one can only suspect what horrifying creations Techland has in stored for us. We also get a glimpse at a new weapon in Dying Light with a crossbow, which will probably offer players an easier time taking on human foes at night.
