Knockout City is a game that’s flown under many people’s radars (admittedly including mine) but has seen massive praise among the gaming community (the Steam reviews being a shining example of that). It’s not a fantastic game as it still has its issues, but it’s a great game that gets a lot right about this sort of genre. Sporting just over a thousand players on Steam alone, including many more on other platforms, it’s clear the game has a small yet dedicated playerbase of fans. If you’re one of them and are excited for what’s next, today’s reveal of the Knockout City content roadmap should satisfy your appetite!

Knockout City Content Roadmap

From the looks of things, Knockout City has a lot of content planned out in the roadmap, with some yet to be revealed. The game has already seen some plentiful content since launch, including a new map, League Play, and two events. A reminder that the Heat Wave event (quite fun to us northwestern folk at the moment) goes until July 5, so be sure to snag whatever XP you can. As for the next season though, beginning just under one month from today, you can expect a new ball, map, contracts, League Play Season, and many timed events including various new playlists. While not listed, you can presume that this sort of content will release for each coming season. We’ll have to wait and see to confirm that though.

Overall, it seems that the Knockout City team is geared up to give its fanbase all the content they could ask for, and that’s always a great thing. While their playerbase may not be on par with some of the biggest, its dedicated group is sure to grow if things keep steadily increasing. Who knows, maybe we’ll be hearing about it a few months down the line?

Knockout City is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
