In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the Fall Guys fall, quite literally, all the time. It might not be the best adaptation of that Lion King classic, but it’s nonetheless accurate, as we have learned what the theme of Fall Guys Season 5 will be – welcome to the jungle, everyone. The “Jungle Adventure” as developer Mediatonic puts it, will be the latest themed season in the lifespan of Fall Guys. I seem to remember writing about the announcement for Fall Guys Season 2, and the medieval theme it had, not that long ago – where has that time gone? It’s nearly a year old already? Whaaaaat?
Anyway, the details around Fall Guys Season 5‘s Jungle Adventure theme had already been rumored and leaked around a week prior, but that didn’t stop the Fall Guys community (or at least the ones not saying ‘dead game’ over and over, which seems to be a frequent copypasta under most of their Tweets) coming together and solving a little puzzle set out by Mediatonic. Jigsaws have stood the test of time, but they’ve never been referred to as #BigJisawus before (a callback to the Big Chungus meme and Big Yeetus, a big hammer that debuted in a midseason update for Fall Guys Season 1).

We got a tease of the costumes in the Tweet above, including Bert (who took over the Fall Guys Twitter account for a brief period the other day) in a skirt – was that on purpose? There are also suitably explorer-themed costumes and even a pirate one. No other details regarding the maps have emerged, but you’d have to assume that given the ‘Jungle Adventure‘ name, swinging on vines will be a thing, no?
