Far Cry 6 is just under a month away, with the return to the series finally upon us. With its previous entry back in 2019 and mainline entry a year prior, fans of Far Cry have been beyond excited to step into Yara and take on Gustavo Fring Anton Castillo alongside his ruthless regime. Perhaps, with a puppy on the side to keep you company and distract guards. With the release so close though, the team has some details on what to expect once the next installment goes live. Over on the Far Cry 6 YouTube channel, the team gave juicy details regarding their post-launch content and what to expect from the three villain-centric DLCs. You can find more on that in the trailer below.

Kicking things off, Far Cry 6 will be receiving three free crossover missions post-launch, bringing content with some of your favorite guest stars. Over the next year, you’ll battle Castillo’s forces to help Danny Trejo provide delicious tacos, help a Rambo superfan take on the Yaran military, and save Chorizo from unknown horrors in The Vanishing, a crossover with Stranger Things! Joining these three crossover missions is six special operations, taking the fight to the military in hopes of preventing bombs from getting into the wrong hands. And finally, Weekly Insurgencies will have you take on some of the strongest hostile forces to strongly weaken military power and score some sweet loot.

Then, there are additional details on the post-launch Season Pass, letting you experience the backstories of all your favorite villains to your heart’s content. In a surprise twist though, these DLCs work a little differently from the standard Far Cry fare. To emulate roguelikes, you’ll attempt to take down tons of hostile forces in a die, retry formula and unlock additional story content. Of course, all of this will be playable in co-op, should you and another Pagan Min wish to face off against immeasurable forces. And as mentioned previously, all of this comes with a free copy of the hilarious and fun Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

With so much post-launch content to be excited about, Far Cry 6 is bound to be a wild ride. What free content are you most excited about? And which villain from the season pass can you not wait to play as? Let me know in the comments below!
