The holiday season is upon us, and it seems it will be a busy one for HoYoverse fans. Besides the many updates coming to all of its existing games, from Genshin Impact to Zenless Zone Zero, there are two big ones also stepping into the spotlight. As you know, Petit Planet is a month away from launch, but today, we learned that Honkai: Nexus Anima will host its final closed beta test. On top of that, we finally have a release window for this long-awaited creature-catching game.

Honkai: Nexus Anima Kicks Off Its Final Closed Beta Test on November 25 With a Release Window for Spring 2027

Final Closed Beta Gameplay Showcase | #HonkaiNexusAnima

Today, HoYoverse unveiled the date for the final closed beta test of Honkai: Nexus Anima, which will begin on November 25. Those who want to aim for a spot in the test can register by following this link. Like other previous tests, remember that data will be wiped, but you will be able to experience several of the game’s features ahead of its release.

For those who don’t know, Honkai: Nexus Anima is a new open-world creature-catching installment that brings many familiar faces from the Honkai universe and the cute, colorful, and powerful Anima, which are the creatures you’ll be able to collect, evolve, and battle with.

One big difference from previous tests is that it seems players will be able to experience more stories than before, more exploration, and other things that will give you a better look at what Honkai: Nexus Anima wants to bring when it launches.

HoYoverse has also confirmed some changes to the Eidios and Anima events, letting you get the limited 5-star one and even claim the matching Anima for free. And speaking of changes, or rather, additions, we’ll also see new things for the combat system.

For instance, we’ll get to experience the Nexus Arena mode, which will have players push for higher ranks as they face different opponents. It also seems that there will be new challenges in the open world, which seems quite exciting, as the combat system of Nexus Anima is quite unique.
