Brazilian publisher QUByte Interactive has partnered with Wired Dreams Studio to help bring Red Ronin to the console world. The game was initially released on Steam back in March of this year, but it has since accumulated enough attention to desire console and other platform versions.

The Red Ronin Slashes and Dashes Her Way to Consoles

Coming soon to all major platforms, Red Ronin follows the story Red. Long ago in a distant land, Red was left behind during a dire mission by her teammates. Now, angry with a vengeance, Red seeks out to bring down her former allies – and she’s got a little robot buddy to help her on the way.

Red Ronin by Wired Dreams Interactive to be pubished by QUByte Interactive

Red Ronin is a Sokoban-inspired turn-based action game where puzzles act as the primary levels and arenas on a grid-based system. An X number of enemies will stand on tiles awaiting your attack as you plan out your next move. You are also in the helpful hands of the robotic Isaac, who provides additional support for our heroine. The game’s style is entirely pixelated, giving it a more retro vibe that falls in Sokoban territory.

The game’s original development comes from Wired Dreams Studio, an independent team from Brazil led by Thiago Oliveira. Red Ronin is their third published game on Steam, where it remains their most popular title. As more reviews came in, publisher QUByte Interactive partnered up with them to bring the game to consoles.

Red Ronin by Wired Dreams Studio coming soon to consoles

Players can expect to find Red Ronin soon. It will launch onto the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. There’s no official release window, but the partnership should bring the console launch to the forefront before 2021 closes up. But if you’ve played Red Ronin on PC, be sure to leave your thoughts on the game in the comments below.
