Although we didn’t need anything more to convince us of Xbox Game Pass’ certifiably unbeatable value, Microsoft has revealed the full breadth of games hitting the service this month, and it’s undoubtedly a good one. The Xbox Game Pass November line-up includes its share of day one releases, which we’ve known about for some time, but also throws in a few surprises.
Leading the charge of day-one additions is the Mexico-set Forza Horizon 5 and the ever-reliable latest sim from Sports Interactive, Football Manager 2022. Both games launch on the service on November 9 for PC, console, and cloud. FM 2022 also lands an exclusive Xbox Edition that Ultimate members can also try out on the cloud. The Xbox Games Pass November offering also includes Unpacking as a day one release, available tomorrow, November 2. We had the opportunity to sample its surprisingly emotive brand of orderly puzzling when it demoed during the Steam Summer Fest earlier this year, and it’s a genuine delight.
More Games Heading to Xbox Game Pass
On November 2, Minecraft: Java and Bedrock Editions join Game Pass for PC, followed closely by EA’s rather excellent co-op adventure It Takes Two. The same day, Kill It With Fire joins the service for cloud, console, and PC. Jumping to November 11, we’ll see Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition launch on Game Pass for console along with One Step from Eden, a mash-up of deck-building and real-time action with rogue-like elements. This last one is for PC and console.
That about sums it up for Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass November plans. The publisher also announced a slew of DLC and game updates heading to Xbox Game Pass titles, including Doom Eternal and Battlefield 2042 Early Access Trial. Head here for more details on these as well as this month’s Ultimate perks and a reminder of which games are leaving the service soon.
