A year following its reveal, Rocksteady Studios is finally ready to discuss more of their upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League game. With the CG trailer reveal at DC Fandome, many were excited to see a new foray into the DC universe. Featuring some fan-favorite villains as the playable characters, Rocksteady is promising a sprawling action-adventure across an open world. As the creators of the Arkham game universe for Batman, Rocksteady hopes to make good on their history. In fact, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a continuation set in the Arkham universe. Featuring four distinct playable characters including Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, and Deadshot. Now the time is right for another proper reveal. Rocksteadyโ€™s creative director Sefton Hill has tweeted out a teaser for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’s appearance at The Game Awards.

When is Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad Game Appearing At The Game Awards?

Many are curious as to the scale of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Considering the vast appeal of the Arkham titles, it’s not a stretch to say Rocksteady is paying attention to fan criticism. While the game has been silent for the last year since the reveal, the time seems right for an update. While the title was featured at DC Fandome 2021 event, little to no gameplay was showcased at the online event. Initial backlash centered around the design and mechanics of the title. Premiering horde-like gameplay on the four main characters was lackluster to some. Yet, a new gameplay trailer may just be what fans need to quell their fears at The Game Awards tomorrow night.

So what do you hope to see from a Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League showcase from The Game Awards? Is it more King Shark (it absolutely should be)? Let us know in the comments down below!
