How to Complete the New Year, New You Challenge in BitLife
The BitLife New Year, New You Challenge has five tasks you will need to complete:
- Change your name
- Go on 3+ different cruises
- Go on 10+ first class vacations
- Obtain every license
- Emigrate to another country
The first task of the challenge is the easiest. Navigate to the activities menu and select identity. You will find options to identify your gender, declare your sexuality, and change your name. Select name change and pick any name you would like. Alternatively, you can choose random names if you do not wish to create your own.
The second and third tasks ask you to go on three different cruises and ten or more first-class vacations. Both of these choices are available under the activities category. Scroll down to “Vacations” to view the two options. Under cruise planning, you will find two dropdown menus listing the available cruises you can take and your cabin type. For the cruises, it does not matter which cabin type you choose. However, even the cheapest option will be over $1000, especially if you bring a partner and children with you.
Similarly, vacation planning will ask you to pick your destination and class of travel. For this option, you must choose “First” under the class of travel for your vacations to count toward the challenge. This will also be especially, costing anywhere from a couple thousand to tens of thousands of dollars if you bring multiple people with you. You need to have plenty of money to spend for both of these tasks. Becoming famous or marrying someone rich will help you accomplish this, but you can also find a high-paying job while living in an inexpensive house.
The next task asks you to obtain every license in the game. Under activities, scroll down until you find licenses. There are three licenses you must obtain to complete this task:
- Boating License
- Driving License
- Pilot’s License
Your driving license is the easiest of the three. You will likely be prompted to take your driver’s test when your character is a teenager. You can retake the test as many times as you need if you fail. Like the driver’s license, the boating license will ask you a quiz-type question about boating. Upon answering correctly, you will obtain your license. The pilot’s license is the most difficult to get since you must go to flight school before taking the test. Each hour of flight school costs $165 or $6600 for 4o hours if you live in the United States. The pilot’s test will also cost money for every test you take. You will need several thousands of dollars to obtain all of these licenses.
The final task asks you to emigrate to another country. Under activities, scroll down until you find emigrate. Select any country of your choosing and request approval. It is not guaranteed that you will be accepted to emigrate. If you are not accepted, you can either emigrate illegally or another country. However, you may face criminal charges and be sent to prison.
