Final Fantasy XIV How to Get Dance Pole
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

Fashion and furnishing are key in the world ofย Final Fantasy XIV, and thanks to the recent updates, players can now add a new fashionable furnishing to their homes โ€” a Dance Pole. Roleplaying is a huge deal in theย FFXIVย community, so it is a wonder that the Dance Pole wasn’t already in the game. Unfortunately,ย as of the current patch, players are unable to interact with it, as its only use is for decorative purposes. However, with the abundance of dances and emotes inย FFXIVย that players can use, the Dance Pole will still undoubtedly appeal to many.

How to Get the Dance Pole in FFXIV

To get theย Dance Pole inย Final Fantasy XIV, players will need to make their way to the Gold Saucer, the arcade zone of Eorzea. Once inside, walk over to the <Prize Claim> Gold Saucer Attendant at the front desk and select the “Others” category. There, the Dance Pole will be available for purchase for 2,000 MGP.

Newcomers who have yet to enter the Gold Saucer inย FFXIVย will need to speak with the Well-Heeled Youth in Ul’dah โ€“ Steps of Nald at X:9.6 Y:9.0. The NPC will provide the blue side quest, “It Could Happen to You,” a brief click-through quest granting access to the Gold Saucer’s zone in Southern Thanalan. However, keep in mind that the player must first complete one of the three Level 15 MSQ: “The Gridanian Envoy,” “The Ul’dahn Envoy,” or “The Lominsan Envoy.” Depending on where the player begins, they will receive their corresponding MSQ.ย

Obtaining 2,000ย MGP, the unique currency of the Gold Saucer, is reasonably easy to do, especially with so many activities to earn MGP from. Simply idle completion of a game of Lord of Verminion will net players enough for the Dance Pole inย Final Fantasy XIV.

Final Fantasy XIVย is available on PC, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
