Rust Console Edition has today launched its January 13 update, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. This patch isn’t your standard content update just to temper your expectations, as the team is instead looking to make a set of bug fixes to further improve the game’s quality. As always, a bug fix update is by no means a bad thing. It just isn’t something worth getting excited over for obvious reasons. Hopefully, with the next patch for the game, you’ll be seeing just a bit more fresh content. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with Rust Console Edition in its January 13 update!

Rust Console Edition January 13 Update Patch Notes

Rust Update 1.10 Patch Notes
“Get out of here, bugs!” – that wolf, probably
  • Fixed the head hit box for the player module.

  • Fixed the flashlight on the Thompson appearing on the wrong side of the weapon.

  • Fixed a bug causing the moon to roam around uncontrollably.

  • Fixed the unusual white triangles in the corners of the large wood boxes, when a light source was shining on them.

  • Fixed a bug causing the Semi-automatic pistol’s recoil to go beyond the maximum value.

  • Fixed an exploit allowing players to fly around the map.

  • Fixed a bug allowing players to clip through the crane lift at the launch site.

  • Fixed a bug causing the rowboats to flip and the players to be dismounted if they were hit by a thrown melee weapon while riding it.

  • Fixed an issue allowing items to be placed within the Launch Site.

  • Fixed a bug with the Locker UI, skin graphics.

As you can see, like said this is merely a bug fix update. It does fix some rather interesting updates though, including an exploit that allowed players to fly around the map. There was also a bug that caused the moon to get a mind of its own which, while hilarious, has been taken care of.

Rust Console Edition is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. For more information regarding this update, check out the official website.
