Chivalry 2 was released almost a year ago by Torn Banner Studios. The medieval fighting game, which has remained exclusive to the Epic Games Store during this time, finally arrived on Steam. The studio officially announced the Steam version details at the PC Gaming Show.
In addition to the Steam version, Chivalry 2’s latest update, “Tenosian Invasion,” was revealed at PC Gaming Show. Shared on the same day as the Steam release, it adds new horses and new battlefields, including two giant Team Objective and two Team Deathmatch maps.
Chivalry 2 is on Steam With ‘Horse DLC’
The Chivalry 2 surprise was revealed at the PC Games Show, which took place as part of Summer Game Fest 2022. Hack and slash action game announces the end of its exclusivity on the Epic Games Store and its arrival on Steam. Torn Banner Studios has announced the arrival of a new free DLC to celebrate this news.
Chivalry 2 gamers saw the launch of the Tenosian Invasion DLC, announced with a trailer at the PC Gaming Show, along with news that cross-play was enabled. The Tenosian Invasion update allows players to attack in archer lines, fight other horse riders, or even with their horse. Of course, those on the ground also get new tools to defend against horses.
Launched in conjunction with patch 2.5, the package includes two new maps for Team Deathmatch mode, two new maps for Team Objective mode, and a series of gameplay innovations, including cross-play. The feature in question will allow Chivalry 2 players on PC to face PlayStation or Xbox players online.
Chivalry 2 Tenosian Invasion update and Steam version of the game are available for $23.99. Considering that it is $39.99 on the Epic Games Store, we notice that the Steam version is offered with a 40% discount.
